Eligibility Criteria
Must clear 12th standard with Physics, and Mathematics from a recognized board.
Candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.
Must qualify Class 2 medical examination by DGCA approved doctors before initiating flying training.
For the issuance of Commercial Pilot License, candidates must qualify for Class 1 medical examination.
Course Duration
The CHPL program typically spans one year, encompassing ground classes and live flying training. Ground classes last approximately 3-6 months, depending on the institute/flying club. Flying training comprises 150 hours on a specific helicopter model, leading to the attainment of the Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL).
